Intimate dinner between Kevin Rudd and Rupert Murdoch

What is going on here? Kev pops over to the US to report to his real bosses? Has a cup of tea with Barack and an intimate dinner with Rupert? No comment says the PM. So did they talk about football perhaps, maybe they compared family fotos or had a deep and meaningful discussion about life on other planets. I’m flat out getting an answer from a junior minister about public policy and I’m a constituent. Rupert who opted to become a US citizen so he could make even more money, gets a private dinner, no doubt paid for by the Australian taxpayer, with our PM who has just flown half way round the world to say hello.

Why don’t we invite Rupert back. Tell him we think this democracy thing isn’t working and we would prefer to know who is really running the show. He can be king for life as long as we still get to read about it in the Oz. It would save on the intimate dinners since its not the first time Kev and Rupe have broken bread together.
